Flipped Classroom, the 21st century pedagogical model

What does Flipped Classroom mean?

Flipped classroom reverses the traditional order

Flipped classroom, or inverted classroom, is a pedagogical model that brings certain processes that were traditionally used exclusively in the classroom, into an out of class context. Or what is the same, the flipped classroom gives a twist to the traditional way of understanding a class: those activities linked mainly to the presentation and explanation of content by the teacher in class take place outside the classroom. Through technological tools such as videos or podcasts, complementary software or simply the Internet, students learn at home and then share that knowledge and doubts in class.

Flipped classroom is an innovative powerful blended learning lever for education, not just about putting technology at the service of education but actually transform the paradigms.
