Dexway Zone, the new digital extension designed to complement Dexway’s textbooks for primary, secondary, and high school courses, has already begun its rollout in many classrooms across Spain and Latin America. In the months since its release, many clients have already highlighted its great usefulness and the positive results they are seeing. We spoke with a private school in Madrid that implemented Dexway Zone in September to support its textbooks and in-person classes for first and second year high school students, and they have already begun to see very positive results.

Among the highlights of our interview, we noted that Dexway Zone stands out as a truly effective e-learning complement: interactive, self-contained, and flexible, unlike more traditional digital publishing resources. We also emphasized the significant improvement in oral expression demonstrated by its students, achieved without increasing the workload of the teaching staff.
And all this thanks to the Dexway method, with almost 20 years of experience in developing e-learning language training, and the application of the most innovative technology such as artificial intelligence, virtual tutors or voice recognition.
What role does AI play in transforming oral practice inside and outside the classroom?
At Dexway, we’ve witnessed how the intelligent integration of AI into language teaching is making a difference in schools worldwide. We know that how to integrate AI (intelligent tutoring systems, AI-powered conversation groups, etc.) to engage students, adding a human touch and fostering student participation is a concern for schools. That’s why we share real-world experiences from institutions that have transformed their teaching and learning methods with our solutions.
CHALLENGE
Before the implementation of Dexway Zone, the teaching team identified several obstacles in the English teaching process at the high school level, a stage marked by a focus on the upcoming university entrance exam. Since this exam does not include an oral component, it tends to be the most neglected part of the course.
Among those obstacles:
- Difficulty in providing oral practice within the class schedule.
- Lack of exposure to real/natural English.
- Little homogeneity in the group.
